Argentina will face Mexico in back-to-back friendlies later this month.

Tottenham Hotspur's Erik Lamela has been rewarded for his form this season, having being handed his first call-up since 2016.

There were some notable omissions too, including Lionel Messi â€" who is yet to return to international duty since the Albiceleste's disappointing 2018 FIFA World Cup campaign â€" Sergio Aguero and Gonzalo Higuain, who has regained his form at AC Milan.
